This is an Apprenticeship. Previous experience is not necessary. Employer will put applicants through college and will also accept applicants within their first year at college. In house training will be given. Duties of the role, general hairdressing, keeping salon tidy and answering telephones. This is an Apprenticeship. Must be able to communicate with the public, must have a pleasant personality and good customer service skills. Duties to include shampooing the hair, keeping the working area clean and tidy and other associated tasks as required. There is training in and outside school and you can be trained to NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3 or equivalent plus in-house training. This vacancy is open to people of all ages, but funding is only available for 16-18 years. There is no such thing as unemployment in hairdressing when you call ask the receptionist for an interview time.

Hours Are: 40 PER WEEK ,5 DAYS FROM 7 BETWEEN 9AM-8PM.

This is an Apprenticeship. Government recognised which is funded for ages between 16-18 however the apprenticeship is open to all ages. No experience required as full training will be given. Duties include assisting stylist, washing clients’ hair, working on reception, making appointments, cleaning the salon, sweeping floor and any other tasks as required. All training is carried out alongside experienced stylists and assessment carried out at the salon. The training period can vary and could take between 12-18 months to complete. A recognised qualification will be awarded on completion. The wage of £2.60 per hour may be increased at the employers discretion. Applicants must be willing to work towards a Level 2 QCF qualification.

Hours Are: 16+ PER WEEK, BETWEEN MONDAY-SATURDAY, DAYS
